Diabetic Hypoglycemia January 2011, Volume 3, Issue 3: page 8-11

Highlights from the 46th European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Annual Meeting are summarized in this edition of Diabetic Hypoglycemia.

One abstract reports on the effects of modafinil on cognitive function and symptomatic and hormonal responses to hypoglycemia, and another presents data to show how electroencephalograms (EEGs) could potentially be used to warn patients of impending episodes of nocturnal hypoglycemia. New findings on hypoglycemia and exercise and quality of life (QoL) are also presented.
